I believe that the movie and television has benefited from the rising gas prices and other bills. With vacation expenses reaching unimaginable prices, poeple have to cut back on their trips. You have to get to you vacation destination by driving or flying. With the cost of gas at $3.67 and plane tickets at $100-$200 dollars higher than normal people are settling for movies and tv.

My summer movie was The Dark Knight and I really enjoyed it. I thought that Ledger played a great joker and did an outstanding job. I think his death brought forth the rise in views for this particular movie because this was his end. I also enjoyed the 2008 Beijing Olympics. I was interested in gymnastics and swimming.
